I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

I received an email from a friend IRL this morning that I thought I should share with all of my IF blogger friends because it reflects EXACTLY how I feel.

"FYI – the gals that post on your blog – I love them! What fabulous women they are and so supportive. It is so interesting (as I am sure you have figured out) how people are not shy when posting on the internet – you get such “real” responses. They say things that I think. Love ‘em, absolutely love ‘em!"

Thanks for all of your support ladies!

Not much else going on around here today. I upped my Viv.elle patches to 2 this morning. Btw, does anyone else ever have trouble getting these stupid patches off? They are so darn sticky sometimes it feels like I'm pulling my skin off with the patch. Eew.

What a sweet message from your friend. I always hope that what I write helps, but you never really know.

Sorry I don't have any advice about the patches. I did the birth control one's for a couple a months when they first came out 6 years ago. I had they problem that they weren't sticky enough.

I don't have vivelle patches, I have climara, which DO NOT STICK. It's like a whisper of elmers right in the middle. I have to buy the tegaderm dressing to put over it. It looked sexy poking through my swimsuit! ;-) How's the relaxation? Does you clinic make you laze around for 3 days?

They leave my skin red underneath, not to mention a distinct outline of where it was, which requires me to use veggie oil to remove them. I am so sexy.

A fellow CCRM'er delurking to say hello...
I am pretty sure I lost some skin with the vivelle patches...and then they leave that nasty ring which took forever for me to get off! Hoping your embies are just as sticky!!

I love the email, I couldn't agree more!

Sorry, the patches are one thing I don't have, so no advice there.

Hope things are going well otherwise!

If you're having trouble with getting them off, maybe try applying some heat to them - a hot wash cloth may help. I'm not certain if that would work - just an idea. Hope it gets easier for ya!
