Today was my post-op and everything went fine. I got a lovely pelvic exam and the RE said everything looks great and I'm cleared for "normal activity" and to call with cycle day 1. Yea! The only curious thing is that I'm still having cramping, lower back pain, etc. Maybe it's just a sign of my impending period and it just happens that it's overlapping with cramps from the procedure? So hard to tell-I just don't trust my body these days. When I told the RE I was still cramping he said that was strange because everything looks normal. That was it-all he said, so I'm assuming it's nothing to be concerned about? He's so weird.
Four more days until vacation!

I am sooo curious to know which RE you're seeing...I really didn't have a lot of 1 on 1 interaction with my guy (Schoolcraft) to know if he is weird. I think our bodies get so confused from all that we put them through, there's no way to predict how they'll respond (but it's nice when doctor's can give you some semblance of an answer!). I think you're overdue for a vacation and some time to relax and pend your bonus - woo hoo! :)
Schoolcraft it is...
If you've got about an hour sometime, I could tell you stories of my experiences and of friends of mine who also saw him (and were eventually successful with IVF). I'll take the weird as long as he gets us pregnant!
So glad you got the green light! You should take a small piece of you bonus goodness and celebrate someplace downtown! Happy holidays and have a fab vacation...
Hi Denise! Thanks for adding me to your blogroll. I'll add you to mine (once I put one up. I'm compiling a list first.) I went back and read your entries - I see that we do indeed have the same ideas about baby buying. How frustrating that that's all "illegal" and "immoral" and all that jazz....That'd be a good way to spend your bonus.
So glad your post op went well. YAY, for normal activity!! Also, YAY, for getting a nice bonus from work.
I am so glad to hear everything went swimmingly! Yay!
Now if that pesky cycle day one would just happen!
