Still in the Darkness

This morning, the bleeding is a touch heavier and bright red. And I'm still crampy.

I called the clinic. Again. Yes, I'm the pathetic panicking patient who knows full well it could be implantation bleeding, but is still convinced she's having a period. Oh well, figure I should get my money's worth, right?

The nurse said it could be one of two things. It could be implantation. Or it could be my stupid body trying to have a period. She did try to reassure me by saying that plenty of patients call right around this time with the same complaints and 75% of the time there is a positive outcome. She said bright red can still be implantation bleeding. As long as it isn't full flow. She did admit, however, that it is possible to have a period while on progesterone. It isn't common, but it isn't unheard of either.

I was told to make sure I'm hydrated as being dehydrated can cause cramping. That is definitely not my problem with all the vitamin water and water I've been drinking. I just want this to go away. Now. It's kind of funny actually. In all my past cycles I've hoped for some type of early sign of a positive. I always thought implantation bleeding would be the best because all other symptoms can be blamed on the progesterone. Now, I'm just freaked out.

oh sweetie!

I just read you last 2 posts and I am hoping and praying these are GOOD GOOD signs. But, I can certainly identify with the panic and fear you must be feeling. Know that so many of us out here are pulling and praying for you. We all want this to be positive. We are all sending you every good thought and prayer we can think of around this. You are not alone.

Big hugs!

Oh boy. How you must feel right now. And I wish I had some information about what this all could be. I'm holding out for you that it's all good. It's just too early for you to get AF! And wrong to get her anyway.

What about progesterone levels? Did they verify it with you? You are taking progesterone supps?

Nancy, there was no mention of checking progesterone levels by either nurse I spoke with last night or this morning. The one this morning did say it was important to make sure I'm getting the suppository in there enough.

For some reason, on my FETs they checked P4 level on the morning of transfer, but they don't do that for fresh transfers. Doesn't make sense to me.

I've never had my progesterone checked during the 2ww of both my fresh and FET. And I had bleeding both times.

But I am really hoping that its implantation bleeding. And yeah, it's scary as fuck.

You know, how scary fuck is.

It just seems like there is no end to the things that we can freak out about. I'm so, so hopeful this is a good sign for you! Keeping all of my fingers crossed for you.
BTW, it's so funny you said you ordered the sonic device for dog barking... I read your comment b/c I got online this morning to look for that very same thing to order! I hope it works.

I just think it's so unlikely that it's your period, so soon after transfer and with the drugs you're on. I think this is little doodad digging in and it sounds like the doodad means business!

I'm carrying on keeping you in my prayers and thoughts, and am hoping like crazy that this is a good sign and nothing else. I so want this to be the month that you get the best news of your life. As Spicy Sister says, you are not alone. We are all pulling for you in this, Denise.

Glad you're off the salty stuff and can eat normally again. Hopefully you can enjoy something delish yourself and not have to live/eat vicariously through me!
