Bad Vibrations

Can someone tell the construction workers across the street to go home for the day? We live in a new construction neighborhood that is only about halfway built out and they are now building a house directly across the street from us. Seriously, how poorly are these houses made that my bed shakes every time they use some type of machinery?

I just hope the vibrations aren't shaking our embryos away from my lining! Paranoid. Who, me?

Also, please see the poll I added to the top of my sidebar and vote on whether I should POAS before the beta on February 10th.

Hee hee hee, I'm sure they don't feel the vibrations and are too busy settling in for the long 9 months to notice anything other then the sound of your voice

See, if you lived in the ghetto like me... Nah, I am sure they don't feel anything with that cushy lining all around! Good luck!

I'm paranoid too. Any little thing I'm worried will cause them to dislodge. But the should be nice and comfy in there.

My beta's on 2/11, when is yours?

PS i voted yes.

I'm like Jen - I live in the ghetto so there is no new construction! heh.

About poas - pee if you want, don't pee if you don't want! I personally would rather know the result myself before hearing it from the nurse. So I pee. Actually, I'm a total addict (as you have already found out) so I pee often. Which, understandably, sets me up for unknown results in cycles like the one I'm having.

But in a non trigger cycle, I feel poas early helps me. I don't like getting crushed all at once. What makes it worse is when time itself has brought more and more hope in my head. See, when I get a BFN at 10dpo, I'm a little bummed. I know it's early, so I'm not crushed, but a little hope goes out the door. Then 11dpo's BFN takes a big bag of wind out of my sails. By 12dpo's BFN, I've already lost 50% of my hope, so it's not too crushing. When AF comes, I'm happy to finally be moving on. For ME, waiting until beta would just bring up so much hope. If I didn't poas, I'd still be full of all the hope I could possibly have. By letting a little out each day, it's not so crushing.

I think the song is Good Vibrations, isn't it? I am an optimist...

Like jen and nancy, there is no new construction in my little neighborhood that I call ghetto, too!

I had to look up POAS - I am not fully educated on all the acronyms. I don't what my thought is on the subject, I think it would depend on my mood...then again, given the OC nature of self, I probably would...i shall place my vote now. Yes on POAS.

Don't do it, don't pee! Don't don't don't!

I'm afraid of pee sticks until it's long past decided.
